While travelling to Berlin in August of 2013, my brother Ethan and I hit a number of museums. There was, however, one in particular that stands out in my mind, not for its amazing sculptures and artwork. Nor for it’s ornate architecture. But for it’s amazing stair lift.
This unassuming, slightly different shade of steps rises out of the ground to form a single flat platform granting access to the museum. I mean, this is James Bond evil villain lair level of accessibility. If I ever build an evil lair, it will have this sort of stair lift (I now even have the cat to complete the Blofeld image as well).
