A Happy New Year, and good tidings for 2016. The new year brings some fun plans and possibilities. My sister, who is 14 years younger than me, is graduating High School. My brother, who also has SMA, and his wife are expecting in August. And my youngest brother and his wife are looking to buy a house.
My girlfriend, Lisa, and I are trying to plan a vacation to New Orleans. Coordinating the healthcare and assistive equipment may prove interesting and challenging, as on previous trips I’ve had someone with who could help me transfer out of the chair, but I’m excited about the possibilities and adventure.
