Medicaid Purchase Plan (MAPP)

What is the Medicaid Purchase Plan?

The Medicaid Purchase Plan (MAPP) is a state program intended for those with disabilities, who are working or intend to work, to continue to receive daily healthcare, while having higher asset limits than SSI will allow ($15,000 in assets vs $2,000 with SSI).

It should be noted that there is a monthly premium associated with this plan, which is calculated based upon the recipient’s earnings and disability related work expenses.
